Let go Darlin

Let it Go Darlin

I'm here as a friend in dark times.
I've been where you were and I've suffered the onslaughts from within
Not much casual conversation flows, about the way the mind attacks itself.

I'm weathering your outbursts the way I'm sure the people from your history told you is love.
It isn't love though darlin. It's fear.
Being loved in any capacity is self understanding; you're receiving a gift.
Regardless if you think you're worthy of keeping it.

I know you think that love means comfort and that comfort is only found in chaos.
Yet, darlin, love is patient. It's holding yourself to a better standard and not bruising those who only handed you care. Love isn't knocking people down so you feel like you’re worth being on top. Thinking fighting equates to passion and is proof of deep emotional bond, will only burn you over time from the inside.  Don’t cling to anger because it feels alive, contrasting the numbness you felt you needed before. Anger feels like power but its self destruction.

There is a perception, beyond the bars you've assembled around yourself
beyond the patterns of time that told you everyone is an enemy
A perception allowing people to be people-and you to be accepted.

Love is wanting the total and abiding good of another.
That isn't founded in tearing another apart.
It's time to grow past the broken ways of survival
You're free to walk in the ways of peace.

Let people show up for you
You don't have to swipe and slash those asking nothing of you
They're not making demands.
Loving you isn't an assault, it doesn't have to make you a victim.
They just want your total abiding good.

Let it go Darlin
Let it go

Requisitional Glory

Theres an intrinsic need for safety wired in every woman.
Women require, more so than desire, men standing in true virtue.
Protection.
Security.

The grace and beauty of a woman brings peace
It inspires harmony
Civility.

An element of danger speaks to the nature of mans purpose.
Without danger Men have nothing to defy.
Nothing oppositional to overcome.

The greatest Man epitomized this with the highest threshold of danger
Death.
He opposed it, took it, drew it in, and defeated it.
With nothing to defy, a man cannot protect.

A man that does not face an element of danger is a coward.
Cowards do not reflect Christ.
Cowards do not go to heaven
There is no Glory befallen weak men

Spirit

Ressurection begins when you stop romantcising ghosts
The version of them you held is incoporial
it's a vapor devoid of the growth
You're clinging to memories.
Now maybe once you've let them go,
once you've left your unfinished buisness buried,
Then you might find life again.
Crawl out of the grave of your own making
Stop covering yourself in the ashes of what once was
Reach up my love from yesterday
Reach beynd my contentions with hope
Reach farther than my my emotional self destruction.
New beginnings come from tomorrows, not yesterdays
New love is not born of necromncy-
Not casting  the measure of the lost upon the blank slate of promise.
Ressurecton is birthed from reinvention
Give up your Ghost
Let yourself live again

Truth Hunters

We're two truth hunters on seperate sides of a one way street.
Him, he's walking in stride muttering in latin and eating wafers
And I, I am pleading through the bars for men and women to call on God.
We're two truth hunters strolling through a neighborhood of shared experiences
Explosions in our histories that shaped us against the major deceptions.
History and tradition drape from his neck. I'm reading Proverbs at the tavern over whiskey.
He begs me to cross, professing what a powerful cardinal I'd be.
I remind him that the Catholics are the protestants to my position.
We're two truth hunters on opposite sides of a one way street, shuffling in the same direction slowly.
I throw rocks at his house and he calls me a Nephilim as we laugh.
We're not killing each other or bottling our hate to pass around like sipping whiskey.
We keep an eye on each other from a distance, calling out potholes and gutter rats- pointing to broken street lights as we each read our copy of the map.
We differ in doctrines but what is it that Christ said again?
"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

A little Sleep and Slumber

We’re setting our clocks for doomsday and sleeping away our lives. Walking in fear through the worlds shadows, small from mockery by evil...
